MARCH 20 – WEDNESDAY

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in your way of life.
Psalm 39:23-24

Pray for God to reveal the ways that you have brought darkness rather than light into the world this week.  Where have you chosen to live for earthly pleasure or personal agenda rather than to bring God’s Kingdom to earth?

Have you numbed, avoided or tried to satisfy your desires with something other than God?

Psalm 32  (NIV)

Blessed is the person
    whose transgressions are forgiven,
    whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the person
whose sin the Lord does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.
When I kept silent,
    my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
For day and night
    your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was sapped
as in the heat of summer.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess
    my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave
    the guilt of my sin.
