After
Adam and Eve had sinned, God does not remain distant but comes directly to
them. He calls for them asking, “Adam
and Eve, where are you?” Of course, God already
knew the answer to that question, but he asked as a way to repair what had been
broken in their relationship. He asked
offering them grace and a fresh start. As
you enter into a new week, imagine that God is coming to you with that same
question. Where are you – Emotionally? Physically?
Relationally? Financially? Intellectually? Tell God about it.
