“May you be blessed when you experience yourself as incomplete and needy, when you set your sights on what is outside you to find wholeness. At those times may you shift your vision inward where God has a permanent dwelling. As you reach your hand inward may you receive the alms that God offers there: grace to transform you, gifts to complete you, and serenity to make you whole. May the God of Wholeness bless you.” taken from “Daily Blessing” from the Dominican Sisters of Marywood.
Assume whatever posture is helpful.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (The Message) May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!
To what degree are you whole in spirit, soul and body?
What behavior changes might you be attempting to make in your life?
Are you trying to change from the outside in, or from the inside out?
Are you asking God to make a transformation first in your spirit, by the power of his Spirit?
